70 Impala With 5 Subs

hey everybody ive gotta question. im buying a 70 impala with 5 subs. but the subs are different kinds. 2 are 12" kicker comps and 3 are 10" JL w3s....will this sound good? or should i sell the set up and start over?

Sell the brand you want to get rid of and get all matching. It doesn't really hurt to have mis matched subs but would be better all the same. You can still go different sizes though.

You definitely don't want different brands of subs in your car. Each company designs its sub to have a certain characteristic, no other brand will compliment it. You've got a hard decision if you do decide to get rid of a pair. While I believe that the 3-10's are capable of more SPL, the Kickers are a great sub also, either way they are both great subs. If you think they all sound good together, then keep them, it's your opinion. The sizes really don't matter, it's just the brands that can cause "conflict".

depends on displacement also ifthe subs are in the trunk you might as well not have a smaller sub ....................
