Hell you should buy them off
EBay, you will have a much better chance of the amp working and being in better shape than to buy anything from this *** hole. He is lying through his teeth just to get you to buy. I know this first hand, I dealt with Andrew Phinney and his **** ******* lies.
I bought his CRX off of him and was told it was in perfect working order, but that is far from the truth. I have had the car for 4 months now and guess what the engine is shoot.
Let's review some of his lies,
I knew from day one that car was modded for competitions (Hell, I found a lot of stuff in the car that he did to cheat in the class he was running)
I was told by Mr. Phinney himself that the car had the blower motor put back in and that the heating and AC worked, that the car had a motor swap with low miles (B16 to be exact), told me he would change the oil in the car before I got it and put a full tank of gas in it. (That's to just name a few)
Well ,when I got the car that was an entirely different story.
Car had a cracked heater hose and radiator (Almost ****ed the car up from driving it)
To my surprise the blower motor and AC lines were not in the car (After I was told it did and that it all worked)
Car had no oil what so ever in it (Was told he would change it)
Car had no gas in it at all (Told me he would fill it up)
Looked at the motor to see the model number and to my surprise it was not a B16 but the stock D16A6 that comes with the SI.
Here is the best lie of all I got from the basterd.
When I got the car I noticed that the headlights, running lights, break lights and turn signals did not work what so ever so I asked him if they ever did work and here is what he said back to me. "They all worked when it went onto the truck. The truck driver looked shady by the way" Well, after digging around I found the reason why nothing worked and that's because nothing was wired up
On that note Phinney you really need to learn how run wire and make electrical connections. I have scene better work form a 15 year old. Oh and I am still waiting on that letter from your "Very Expensive Lawyer" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
That's not all but I am not going to go into it.
Yes, I am at fault for not checking the car out before I bought it. I had to learn this the hard way but I just don't want to see anyone else fall for his bull shit lies. The only way I would buy these off of him is if you are there to see the amp and test it for yourself and not go off what he "says".
