Two Kinetik HC2400's. These were modded to an 8 volt and 4 volt section to run them as a 16V setup using 4 batteries. I purchased them this summer, and never got around to running them.

I am posting this to gauge interest. If there is enough interest, I will get out of car audio. If I can only sell a piece or two, then I'll just keep it all.

PM me.

Yea I was thinking that but wanted to check to be sure. Never seen those before. Since they were 8v and 4v was not sure if they could charge on 12, would be cool if they could and cheaper to go 16v.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Do the 2400's charge on a 12v system but put out 16v or do you need to charge them as 16v, never see those before and not sure how they work.
The 2400's charge off of a 12V system.

Basically, as you can see in the pictures, there is a copper bar in the middle of the battery (actually 2/3 down it). On each side of that bar, there is a battery terminal. Kinetic has broken the battery down into an 8V portion, and a 4 volt portion. Simply connecting the center terminals together give you 12V, and it us run like a normal 12V battery. If you wanted to get 16 Volts out of these, You would need a total of four batteries......two modded like this, and two normal 12V Kinetick 2400's. You would then wire the two 8V portions of my two batteries together, giving you 16 volts, and also wire each full 12V battery to the 4 bolt portions of my batteries, giving you two more 16V batteries. SO, it takes 4 batteries to make three 16V batts. That's what's nice about these........they give you options.

Also, if they were hooked up as a 16V setup, they would have to be charged as a 16V setup. You could charge them as 12V, but you'd have to charge them all individually, then rehook them back up. It could not be run as 16 volts, and and charged off of your 12v electrical at the same time. I hope this makes sense.

Sweet so no 16v alt needed to get 16v thats what I need.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Would you take and trades for those? I already have 1 2400 so would just need one more after these and never seen these..
