6x9's with much bass

Considering getting a zenon 200.4 since i need 200 watts for my comps up front. Would allow me to just run 2 amps instead of 3(with seperate amps for comps & rear deck speakers)

Question, is there anything i can put in the rear deck that will complement the subs in my trunk. Maybe some 6x9's that are excellent on higher bass notes. Or would it just be pointless because it will be pretty inaudible with the subs back there and i should just stick to my 6.5's back there?

Make conversion pieces or buy some, that you can put 6.5's in tha 6x9's spot & then get 6.5's up front too.

Man...depending on your h/u, I'd toss those rears and run the fronts active. Maybe upgrade your 6.5 drivers in your doors to something that can play down pretty low (like 60-80 Hz). That's what I would do anyways.

I had a pair of old-school JBL T545 ByNines back in the day that were pretty excellent for bass output.

The basically re-issued version of those (JBL T595) ought to sound just as good.

The Pioneer Premier TS-E6990 three way ByNines (the best model available that year whatever year that was) I had when they first became available here locally (the first Premier coaxials with nickel plating on the cones) sounded pretty outstanding to my ears and I would guess that whatever their equivalent is today is likely pretty tough. I cannot say for certain, however, as I have not bought a pair of non-round speakers in a very long time.

lol, most people say they dont but im just curious if there is something on the market that would give me some music back there with alot of bass.

I have Crystal SSCS6 comps up front and they are pretty nice. really doubt i'll be switching them out for years. very impressed with them on only 100 watts power acoustik amp. when i give them 200 rms each from a quality amp, should be amazing. Just would like to put something in the rear deck that handles 200 watts.

Thing is, if i put more comps in the rear, i think it will screw with my sound stage so i'd rather just put something with tons of bass that plays pretty low in the deck. But, if the bass wont be heard or complement my subs, i'll just stick with what i got.

I have a pair of CDT CL-69's in my rear deck as a replacement for a sub in my trunk. They sound good matched with my CDT EF-61CF comps in front of my 06 Altima. I have an Infinity 7541a (111 watts rms x 4 amp) running my comps and 6x9s. It took them a little while to break in, but now I love them. They obviously aren't going to thump like a 10" or 12" sub, but they add a nice punch on rap songs and definitely fill out the music.

Heard alot about those, i might give them a shot for the heck of it considering how cheap they are. They are 8 ohm, so the xenon would only give them 100 watts each right? is that enough?

I have a pair of the Tang Band 6x9's, and they wang pretty hard for what they are. Just bridge em on your amp.

Did you use them with subs or just by themselves. Can the bass in these be heard or is it negated by the subs. I have a couple of 500rms Orion subs in the trunk right now.

I cast my vote in two parts:

1. 6x9 TB subs.

**OR**

I've never used them personally, I bought them lightly used from someone locally.

I just use mine up front for midbass. But, when the sub isn't in, I turn off the LPF and let em go low. They are pretty loud for only 50w apiece.
