6x9 install help

I just installed some kicker 6x9's in the rear deck of my 99 cavalier and they don't line up correctly to screw them down on the stock plastic ring that the stock speakers were screwed too? What's the best way to secure them? just bolt them straight to the deck? I plan on installing a subwoofer and don't want them rattling and such

Some second skin and you can mount them to your deck. Some people like to mod the plasic rig, I don't like to if I don't need to.

Yea looks like i gotta bolt them to the deck. Now my door speakers are being a *****. I can't get the stock speakers out of the bracket.

Make a speaker ring out of mdf that your speaker fits into, in which you can then mount using factory screws into the factory screw holes.

Best way to do it anyway.

Thanks for the help but I eventually got them out and all of them installed. Had to do some slight modificationsbut there in and working! Now i'm working on the bass.
