6x9 fits Camry 07 or not?

Hi guys,

Greetings to everyone... I just registered & this is my first message!

I got a Toyota Camry 2007 LE model. I want to upgrade all four factory speakers. Some websites say that the speakers in my car are 6x9, so any 6x9 speaker should fit at front as well as rear.

But according to Crutchfield, 6x9 speakers wont fit my car. They say Camry has a custom sized speakers.

Can anyone help me out please? Thanks.

Do you have the JBL system or not?

Regardless...I'd build MDF baffles and go to 6.5" or 7" midbasses instead in the doors.

I dont have JBL, I have standard 6-speaker system.

nope, no navigation system.

I have standard single mp3 cd player & 6 speakers.

Well, let me tell you my plan.

I have already installed 12" Kicker Solo Baric and Kicker ZX750.1 but the performance is not upto the expectations with the factory stereo. (As I have connected amp with high level inputs)

So now I plan to upgrade the stereo with-

Pioneer DEH-P5900iB

And speakers & amp:

4 x Pioneer TS-D691R and Kicker ZX350.4

Now I am just worried if 6x9 spekares would fit or not!

Crutchfield gives me following info when I select my car:

Factory replacement info:

In-dash stereo

9-21/32" depth; Size code DD,E

Front speakers

Dash: Tweeter

Front Door: 6x9"

Rear speakers

Rear Deck: 6x9"

But when I choose a 6x9 speaker, it says doesn't fit your car.

I would truly appreciate any help in this regard. Also, you are more than welcome to comment or suggest anything on my overall plan. Thanks!

try searching for a Toyota Camry forum online. Usually vehicle specific message boards have a section devoted to car audio and you can probably find the answer you are looking for.

There's tweeters in the dash ,the doors are 6x9 mids.All channels are 4ohms,the fronts signals are separated like components.If u plan to do any speaker upgrades u will need to make baffles,even aftermarket 6x9's wont just drop in.
