6x9 3-way VS. 6.5" component and coaxials.

Hey my truck fits 6x9 but iv heard 6.5" are better. I know it depends on brand but on average what do yall think. Cause iv read and heard that 6x9 are way more crystal clear and actually do have bass. Just let me know if yall know the big difference between the two. I already know what coaxials and components are.

Im deciding between putting four 6x9 3-way or 2 6.5" component in front and 2 coaxials in back.

The 6x9's usually have more bass , comps are better for sq than coaxials. Put either 6.5 comps in front with coaxial in rear or 6.5 comps in front with 6x9 in the rear.

First of all your speakers arent supposed to play bass. Thats a subs duty. Unless of course your referring to mid bass.

Secondly the sound will be a product of its enviornment. If the speakers are installed poorly then they will sound like crap. If they are installed properly with deadener, closed cell foam, etc. you can make a bad speaker sound good.

well yea mid bass. But it still bumps pretty hard. Idk if you been like in a 2010-2011 chevy silverado. But like that. And yea imma put some foam around it possibly and that sticky deadner stuff so it dont rattle stuff. Their is a certain brand i forgot it tho.
