6X8's for Ford

Hello all I am looking for some speakers for my ford explorer sport. I dont want to spend an arm or a leg, and might have things to trade if anybody is interested. Let me know what you have.

Also looking for some kicker Comp VR 12's dual vc 4 or 2 ohm. Let me know.

It depends.

I know from '91-'94 Ford trucks used 6.5" drivers in the doors.

No they are either 5X7's or 6X8's that is what was recommended. It is a 2000 Ford Explorer sport.

5x7 alll around or 6x8 same thing. go with some polks. or go to CC and get the MTX special where u buy a set for 100$ get hte other one Half off.

pioneer tsd-680, the rev series. excellent speaker for a coaxial. i would either do those or if you wanted to do a component set in a plate, i would run the boston SL80's. both are excellent choices. the only two i would do in a 5x7 or 6x8. if you wanted to to a 6.5" in a plate, that is another story but requires a little more effort.
