Your PM box was full sorry to post publicly. Looking for a good priced set of components from Rainbow. Want something under $500 and would like 2 midbass for the rear and a two way for the front. The mounting depth cannot be greater than 65mm on the woofers, but I think most of the rainbow speakers in this price range fall into that category.

Oh and if you know of some good small amps that can power the above speakers that would be good as well. I don' t have a lot of space to work with in the height/width department.

Thanks, Cameron.

If you buy from Don he won't sell you anything else until you install what you just bought.

If you are a quitter, don't buy from Don.

Perhaps SLCs and X-line, but you are going to need some processing for midbass in the rear. And you will still be over budget.

I would just get the germs for the front and call it a day.

I am moving out of GTO to a Ridgeline and everything in a Ridgeline requires shallow speakers. I currently run Adire Koda, Image Dynamics Midbass and JL Audio 10w6s. None of it will fit in my new car. I am older now and don't want to get crazy with the stereo like in previous installs, but I am certainly going to start and finish rather quickly on this. It usually only takes me 1-2 weeks to fabricate everything.

Some of my last installs:

Thanks, I learn more each time and each successive install gets less expensive. I want to get this one done for under 2k and keep a quaility to the sound which is challenging. It would be easier if the Ridgeline had room as I could recycle a lot of equipment, but it requires 65mm in the doors best I can tell which limits the speaker selection quite a bit. I ran across someone who said Don was the man getting these Rainbows in.

I really like a heavy midbass section and I have a Symmetry in the garage that I can use to XOver the signal to my hearts desire. The other BIG problem with this install is that I am going to be severely limited on bass. I have about 4.5" to 3.5" or cleareance in the sub box with a total of about .35 cubic foot. I am going to have to drive some 6.5s down further than I like to get a solid sound in the system I am affraid.
