hey guys, im redoing the audio in my 69 gto judge.
i have room for two 6x9s in the back and two 6" speakers in the front. then i also have room in the truck for subs. i did some measurements today with different box builds and found one i like and it came out to be just under 6 cubic feet. (5.8 cubic feet exact.) could make smaller no problem.
the front panel where the speakers would mount is 38" by 17". with plenty of room behind it. i will be using 3/4 cabinet grade plywood since i have it laying around. so im not sure 15" subs would fit.
so with that out of the way im looking for brand/speaker recommendations and a amp to power it. i have a great head unit so not interested in that.
im currently looking at the DD 9512i. not really looking to spend much more then that so about 800 a speaker. unless its really worth it. this will be a daily driver, no comps just car shows so is this high grade of a speaker worth it? just wanting some recommendations since i don't have much knowledge in the audio world.
any help is appreciated.
