To answer the question from eariler. Ford did not put the IRS in the Cobra for handling purposes unless they are retarded. IRS systems are extremely heavy and offer no better handling characteristics for their weight. If they were trying to achieve a better handling car, they would have used a rear multilink system similar to the BMW M3 and older Nissan Maxima. Multilink systems have been proven to handle better than IRS systems, and are much lighter at the expense of ride quality. I think they did an IRS system to make the car appeal to more women.

please explain to this forum how that has ANYTHING to do with intelligence. I would argue that it correlates to your parents lack of intelligence.

Placing a 16 yearold who has no clue how to drive into a decently quick sportscar with a poor crashtest rating and no roof... very smart.
