$650 budget for 4-chan amp

Hi guys, been a while since I upgraded so I wanted to get some input before I dropped the cash.

I see Phoenix Gold discontinued their Tantrum line, which what I was hoping to upgrade to. Do they still make decent amps? Also, my bro recently went with a 4-chan JL Audio and it simply sounds great.

Any other models to consider would be greatly appreciated.

Go with an Audison LRX 300.4 if you can get one. 65x4 at 4 ohms(very underrated), small footprint, plus Audison makes some of the best amps, period.

If you get a Xenon thats not part of the first batch, they are hard to beat for the money. At least 200x4 @1-4 ohms and under $250. These amps reportedly have a great sound to them that PG is known for. They had a few bad eggs in 2004 when the line first debuted that caused a stink and scared everyone away, so thats why they are being closed out for pennies/watt.
