well, this computer is a beast, i love it very much, it is the fastest machine my local custom computer shop could make

the tower alone is 1350 purchase price, with my 30% discount because i made them a woofer enclosure.. it would have been almost 1800 bucks if i dind't get that good of a deal, it is 5 months old

originally i bought it because i like gaming, alot, i mean EQ 2, dark age of camelot, running two accounts at once, crazy stuff..

but more and more, i've been getting away from that, and i need the portability of a laptop.

so here i am selling this **** near new machine.. to anyone that'd be interested, i'd prefer a like-powered laptop as a trade for someone that wants to get into a tower and monitor setup... but cash is good too.

i have ebay ref and a few ref's on here, i can get pics upon request, but i think alot of people know me, and i'm not new here or anything.

here's the juicy on it.

AMD 3000+ 64 bit processor

1 gig of ram ddr

120 gb scsi hardrive

mother board is a k8t neo 2 series.. model number k8t800pro, designed for 64bit processors

64x dvd burner/writer/reader burns cdrw's and cdr's too, pretty much it can burn any disc you can find

nvidia GEforce 6200, extremly fast video card, could run eq2 at experimental graphics acceleration, "setting is for computers that haven't been created yet, try at your own risk" - the game says when you enable it.

it comes with a year of norton protection and microsoft spyware protection.. i think it stops in october 06 at such time you can renew it

windows XP professional, all the cd's for everything installed on it, plus extra wires and cables for the inside of the tower..

dual fans blue and red neons in an alien case, black, very nice case.

offers?

dont lowball me here, i mean this isn't the average computer.

might be willing to trade for car audio, but man, it better be somethign good : )

I dont think too many will be interested considering the drop in prices on current computer parts. I tried to sell my AMD Athlon 64 3500+ system a while back but with no luck (I wanted to buy a mac mini and an external 250gb hard drive). Best of luck to ya though

SCSI isn't new technology man. you sure you don't mean SATA?

And what type of ram is it?

Brand name? or like OCZ, Kingston????

Also the HD, what type is it, and the cache size?

i'm not huge into computers anymore, it's like where the hd does dual work or something, it uses smaller discs for data transfer, like 10 12 gig discs, instead of 1 120 gig disc, thats how they explained it to me.

it's a seagate barracuda 7200.7 hardrive, so if you can get the information you want from that, the ram i dont know what brand it is, i'll pull it out tommarow, i dont have paperwork on the ram.

edit: you're right it is SATA

re-edit: it's not the 80 gig though, it's 120 gigs

a 3000+ is nothing and neither is that video card. The ram is alright and the mobo is alright. That hd is decent, and the case seems like a 60 dollar premod. There's no way it's worth any more than 600 bro. I'd take that offer.

Depending on what type of ram he has, that PC brand new is anywere from 800 to 1400....

Its the ram that will make it. Cheap ram, or OCZ eB platinum pc4200 ram would cost alot for 4 gigs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think you mean raid. looks but if its a 7200.7 then your only running on one 120 gig harddrive (no raid).

might wanna change your dvd to a 8x speed dvd burner, theres no such thing as 64x. Your best bet is selling it thru ebay if your looking to sell it for top $$

you won't get that much for it. a better computer could be built for under 1K. your video card is probably agp which is old skool and 1gb of ram is the norm now. ddr is old skool as well.

right now you can get your exact computer at newegg for around 800. that includes

windows xp pro

64 bit 3000+

same mobo

1GB corsair XMS

BFG 256Mb 6200

120GB sata hd

thermaltake case

dvd/cd burner

#1 it's used

#2 he had it built (they arent going to throw in som OCZ pc4200 ram) so it's probably going to be 2700-3200 generic branded

#3 My 3.2ghz watercooled system (overclocked to 4ghz) in an antec p180 ($150 case) with 1 gig of PC4000 Kingston Hyperx (havent ever noticed a difference with better ram) 80gb WD SATA HD, Nvidia 6800ULTRA (watercooled), Abit ic7G Max 3, and many other things wouldnt even go for the minimum $600 bid i started it at.

Also an audigy 2 zs gamer and a 54mbps wireless card installed

More specs dude sheesh. Memory type and maker, hdd speed, etc. 64x dvd burner???

I may be interested but only at the right price and if you would do COD as you seem to know nothing about a "$1800" computer you have and the fact you're new.

wow, nevermind, mod please delete.

i didn't imagine it'd drop that much that fast.. and it's kingston ram, so whatever thats worth.. it's not a piece guys. man : /

i'm a gamer and a car audio guy.. i can make boxes and fiberglass, i dont build comptuers, so i know what i know about it, like i said, but i'm not a professional, i wasn't trying to like pull one over on anyone.

it is an 8x dvd burner, sorry about that..

and i didn' twant the pci style vid cards because i was hearing alot of overheating and other bullshit about it from the people at the shop that i built the box for, that technology might be good now, but at the time it was not that good, i guess, so either way.

mod please delete, thank you.

thanks for interest everyone.
