I have a old regular everstart battery that is 630 cranking amps. One of my friends is selling his entire system and said he would sell me his battery that is 800 amps (forgot what brand) along with his kinetik 2400 all for $250....or just the kinetik for $210. So the smaller amp is basically $40. So wonderin if an extra 170 amps is worth the extra $40?

Will of course put the smaller battery under the hood then the kinetik in the back by the kx2500.

not really, but you said u have an "old regular everstart battery" only reason id buy his batt is if it was brand new, since u said urs is old. if not, **** it cause you can get a brand new batt at walmart or autozoo for just over $40 anyways

Hes had it for about a year he said but has only used it about 4 months. Brand is extreme energy or somethin like that. Also it is 800 cold crankin amps....i thought it was 800 crankin amps but it is cold crankin amps. My current everstart is 525 cold crankin amps...so there is a 275 amp difference.

Also mine is prolly 3 years old.
