600w for 15" L7

I wanna use a JBL 600.1 to power a 15" L7 4ohms DVC

run at 2Ohms in a 4.5 cu ft vented box....will the L7 very hungry for power?

Cuz my car's alt didn't upgrade...so I dun try to use 1200.1

i think it will sound good but with more power will sound great.
