6 speakers on four channel amp. Ohm load?

if i connected six 4ohm speakers to a four channel amp, what would the total ohm load be? I know 4 on a 2ch equals 2 ohms. Could i assume that 3 on a four channel would be total of 3 ohms? Thanks
Ohms law says for a parallel circuit 1/Rt = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 etc..

1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 3/4, inverse is 4/3 which is 1.333 ohms.

Either way, run two on the front, and 4 on the back. 2 separate loads of 4 and 2 respectively.

so in that case the final resistance on the amp would be how many ohms? The reason i ask is because i need to know the voltage i will set my gains at using my DMM. Is it just as simple as using the 2 ohm formula for the speakers on the front and the 4ohm formula for the back?

You have to treat them as 2 different loads, therefore setting the gains different on the front and rear channels.
