6 Channel Amp

Hey guys,

Im looking for a 6 channel amp for my 6 speaker system in my car. I have 6 1/2 components up front, 6 1/2 coaxials in the middle and i think 5x7's or something in the rear.

they are just polk audio db's but i might upgrade them all to something better. just wondering what some 6 channel amps are, ill look the specs up for them later

and i want all 6 channels for the speakers, i dont want a subwoofer channel on there or anything

Check and see if ikesound still has the Viper 550.6. It was going for under $200 when I bought mine. Perfect amp for your setup.

You only need a 2 channel. Power the fronts and throw away the rest of your speakers.

mmmm, no, i had just the 2 hooked up and the back 4 unpowered, then when i added the other four it sounded like a whole new system. way better than just two, so. no thanks.

thanks for the suggestions. i cant find the viper one on ebay, but i found it online for 500 or something, a little too much, considering i can get the jbl one for like 250 on ebay. But thanks anyway, ill do more research.

any other six channels good? i remember seeing a jl audio 6 channel, but they are a little more expensive, is it really worth it?

well, i just looked up the jl audio one and its only 50 more than the jbl...im kind of leaning at that one now
