I mainly am just wanting to have door panels that sound good and are loud and decent midbass but don't want a standard driver like everyone else

Yeah. The only reason I was looking at orion is because they have so many different options but their information on their site is either overstated or not present.

its the mini dsp and tuning. Makes big difference when you tame the peakiness, cross over, eq and time align stuff properly vs a sh*tty average joe head unit.

that still doesn't lower IMD

the cal 27 and 28 are nothing short of amazing and the new gerinaium midbass is nothing short of excellent. Ive yet to hear the platunim and reference. notbody carries really carries them.

in this case the guy just wants something that sounds decent and gets loud. I doubt you will get a ton of midbass unless you use a 10" whice is why i dont like prosound drviers unless they are ported..

There some rf pro's floating around for like $205 shipped and some cdts, or try american bass stealth series but you'll have to call Bob about those because there isn't too much advertising for them at all but I've seen like one or two YouTube videos with them. Orion is said to have some super nice mids though and don't too many people run them

I was looking at the xtr xtx series I think it is. 250rms.

Yeah they usually dont do 50-80hz that well unless its a bigger driver or if its ported. The 6.5s do have a powerful kick in the 100hz+ region
