I have been looking around for a company that not many people run and not do the typical Crescendo, PRV, and McLaren, but does anyone know a company that lies underneath everyone but still performs well? My final plan will probably be a super tweeter, a 6.5 in the door, and a 6.5 in the kickpanel or a door pod much later on in the future. Any ideas?

There's a guy in Georgia who has 3 8s and one of their super tweeters on his doors with a minidsp 6x8 and they sound incredible. I might end up doing those because they're only 15 a piece. And the 8s are 30.

its the mini dsp and tuning. Makes big difference when you tame the peakiness, cross over, eq and time align stuff properly vs a sh*tty average joe head unit.

I'm putting in that minidsp 2x4 when I do my doors. I just don't know when or if I ever will

I'll have to look into those. I found that most of those are out of my price range or too low rms. I don't want to overpower them so I don't have a higher risk blowing them.

Just remember sensitivity. Some times, it doesnt take alot of power to get loud

Do you actually have a goal here or is it "just be different"? If you want something no one else has, build something custom, or have someone do it for you. If you can get your hands on a pair of stereo integrity tm65s, thatd be dope. i just bought the last that will ever be made(nope, not selling). Hit up diyma, or throw a WTB thread on there. That or go with something obnoxiously expensive that everyone will be jealous of.

Or better yet, take a standard boring driver and build it a perfect weird enclosure like isobaric door pods or something of the sort.

I mainly am just wanting to have door panels that sound good and are loud and decent midbass but don't want a standard driver like everyone else
