6.5's that handle more than 100 RMS???

does anybody have a recommendation. i have been looking. the kappa's (which i have 4 (6 x 8" that take my 110 RMS) but i might need to get some 6.5" for the front of my 1996 formula, because they might not fit all that well in the front doors.

any ideas? i dont want to spend more than $150 on them if possible. ebay is definitely an option, but i will not buy used.

any thoughts on the Polk db6501's 6.5's componets. 100 RMS. ~120 off of ebay?

if your looking at a comp set almost all will take 100rms+ daily, even if the spec says 60rms

just get a decent amp, even a low line mtx/alpine/rockford will work fine

I gave some CDTs 250rms that were rated at 100rms for about 5 months,then changed set up.

Just be sure to set your cross over points

i am thinking of adding a second identical one so i can run 8 speakers.

most decent sets will take it.

i gave the rsd's (that are rated at 60 watts a side) 300 per side.

You shouldn't have a problem with anything rated from 80-120 watt rms, which most decent components are.

I am running the CDT CL61a's in one of my car with over 150 to 200 watts rms at times with no problems.
