6.5 wont fit,have to go with 6x8's..what brand?

How the **** would a 6.5" not fit?

the factory mounting ring is removable it seems like if i remember right you have to drill out some rivots and you can rig a 1/4 mdf plate in there but it will most likely throw the 6.5 off axis...because the factory mounting ring is angled slightly forward for improved imaging....but a mdf plate..and some gorilla tape to seal it off would solve the excursion problem with the 6.5
