6.5"... massive midbass

what about these dd drivers? they look pretty beefy but... every vid i've seen on them is with a ported enclosure in the door. i need a beefy driver that will perform well open air in the factory door location.

Hey immolation,

If you have the room in your doors or if you could make some kick pods those anarchy will out perform most Midbass or midrange drivers on the market.

The medal cone is very smooth,

You cant hear the motor noise.

They are pretty deep at 3.7.

They are a true 7 inch driver.

At 8ohm you can bridge them to get a 4ohm load in mono.

With only 100watts per side they will pound the hell out of your doors.

The midbass isn't snappy as Scanspeak or Seas mids, but for the price they are best in there price range,

& yes i did own a pair.

I was running four of these in my Saleen as subs on a Digital Designs M3....at 1ohm so about 700rms eac...It sounded like a pair of 12s it hit so hard ,,,It amazed all who heard it...I ran that setup for about 6 months before changing to something new....
