6.5" into a 6x9

Basically:

Trace the 6x9 onto a piece of MDF

cut it out

Then, find the cutout diameter of your 6.5's

use a compass to draw the cutout on the MDF ( from the center)

Cut that out

And you are done !

If anything, they will make it sound better

if you mount the baffle under and the speaker on top of the baffle that should make the speaker about flush w the shelf!

Making adapters like what you're needing isn't hard at all. However, if you're lazy like me you could just buy some adapters and be done with it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Thanks, I think I'll just do that. I dont have the tools or the place to be cutting MDF while living at my dorm.

One more question, are 6.5 generally better than 6x9?
