6.5" component system under $200

What is a good sounding set of compontents for under 200? And where would i put the tweeter since my car doesn't have stock tweeters? I have heard just tape it or attack it somehow to the dash but i would like it if looked like it belonged there.

You either cut out a hole in the suitable position, or you just use surface mount cups.

Really, there are a lot of good sounding components for $200...

Surface mount cups usually come with components...at least any components I've ever bought.

I like the idea that they can be used as compnents or coaxials.

the PCEs are a little expensive for me and I don't really want to buy off ebay.

Is there anyway to figure out your max mounting depth for the speakers without taking out the stock speaker and checking? Maybe a website?

Website: search for crutchfeild and cartoys.

Mount the tweeter close to the mid in the doors. Don't mount on the dash... too many nearfield and harsh reflections from the windsheild.

not sure i had their fusion powerplant subs and i needed a component set and my local shop had them then two days later bought a new car and never used them
