6.5 focal polyglass

Go with the 450/4. Channels one and two have 150w/channel where as the 300/4 has only 75w. Headroom is a good thing and 150w will be enough to satisfy most component system. Rear channels of both amps remains identical in power output.

the 450/4 isnt too much, but for the money i would rather go with a zapco reference 360.4 over either of those JL's. it is cheaper too i believe. it is simply a great amp, the only reason i dont have one anymore is because we stepped it up to a ref 1000.4.

Speakers can take more than their RMS posted. What you need to remember also is that the maximum wattage for a channel is really going to only be used if the system is really cranked up. Otherwise you aren't using the full power. Many times I have had speakers with more power than they should have and as long as you are careful about how loud you turn it up then they will be fine. In fact, I have often seen speakers messed up from not enough power than too much.

i would rather overpower than underpower, just for headroom, and also for sake of clipping.

what amp do you have for the subs? if you have 800-1000 watts, i would go with the w6v2 right off the bat.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my car back Sat night. Had problems with the jl amp (450.4). Called the Sales Manager at home Sun. morning and the installer came in and replaced my amp (they were actually closed). Got it all tuned out and I will have to say that it sounds pretty good. The subs (sealed @ 1.25 cubic feet) keep up with the rock and metal pretty good and slam on the rap. Focal sound pretty good. Couldn't fit 6 1/2 in front so I went with the 5 1/4 K2's. Them tweet scream.
