i would DEFINITELY do rev's IF i had enough top mount depth lol

You still might be able to fit if you have enough room between the speaker mount and the door panel to use a thin MDF spacer.

and if you think the REV are better than the diamonds i cant figure out the top mount depth for the rev and it cant be more than 2.25

You're in the same boat I'm in. My car only allows for 2.3" of mounting depth which seriously limits your choices. This is part of the reason I'm going with the Illusion Audio Luccent LM-6 mids. The other part is they are incredibly inexpensive. They're only $45 shipped. For that price they're worth a try. Use them with the tweeter of your choice.

As for the comps, I'm still going to suggest the REVs with the use of a thin spacer.

You'll have to measure, bud. It's all going to depend on how much physical space you have between the speaker mount and the door panel.
