6 -4ohm speakers to 4-channel amp

I'd probably run 4 speakers to the front channels of the amp (2 ohm stereo load to the amp) and run the other 2 speakers off the rear channels.
Exactly right. Run two speakers in parallel to each of the front two amp channels to show the amp a 2 Ohm load on those channels (whatever the amp's output per channel @ 2 Ohm stereo will be split between the two speakers attached to that channel. I have a similar problem last week..guy siad to wire 4 speakers to 4 channel and 2 others to the HU..then again its a boat..not sure...never listen to radio on a boat..sure its got a HU that you can wire a few speakers to..then the rest off the 4 channel..or buy a 6 channel amp..i dunno
