Personally, If he wants to run 6 subs, I would do a clamshell design. Also do more then one layer of MDF.

He has I believe 4 or 5 layers of 3/4 mdf for the baffle. The rest is steel cage, so figuring that. A 3/4 layer would be respectable. He is getting in there with resin and mat before to long so hopefully that helps. In one of my builds, my baffle was 4" thick and still flexed until I added rods. How many cubes is the box?

No reason to say sorry. I thank you for your criticism, and I think Tommy does to. Threaded rods have been mentioned. As far as cubes go, Tommy will have to answer that. Keep with the info

Baffle isnt a problem, so why would i use threaded rod?
He talked about a 151- and its 154, and only using 1 sheet of wood- which the baff is 3 in thick w many many L brackets-obviously he diddnt read the thread, or is just that ignorant
It will get the inside glassed to even the floor out, and sides..
