Possibly we shall see, just wanna make sure this box is going to hold up. I have reinforced the hell out of it. Looking to do direct drop 5000 to 7000rms down the road. Just going to play this out and make sure it will perform as needed.

I just got rid of my HK4000D, was a current hog to say the least. As of right now POWER ACOUSTIK OV1-5500D, so subs are seeing about 1600rms. Peak rated for these is 250w. All these #'s sound trivial, but you would have to hear in person. As for amps later, I have my eye on a couple, Atomic was high on the list, but has since moved to second choice. Should be able to bust a 150 with under 2000 watts rms

EDIT. i just noticed which ones they were. id say they could still take around 300 watts RMS. but i personally have never used the RE series. although a local dealer in town has many on display that i have heard as well as in his vechicle...and they can take some power for what they are.

which RE's are these? even the SR's will take around 500-600 watts RMS.

RE RE's, $48 shipped ftw, I used some of there 8's before in a box I got off of Kulicki. I was pleased with the results, just as I am very pleased now.

awesome shit man.. not 2 Jack the thread but my buddy has 6 12s in a wall in his 95 monte.. Its currently got 6 DD 2512s and 1stetsom 2k6.. and does 154 legal, tuned to 34hz.. he is in the process of switching the subs to 2512s with reb cf caps and waiting on his z2lv.. DD is having a batch made up.. it has 3 75lb commercial grade batts in the trunk and only dips into mid 11's on a burp
