So I actually built up the nerve to ask for a Christmas present from my parents.. (I don't ever ask anymore).... besides the point.. I'm looking for a component set for my blazer.. looking for a good sounding set for around $130... honestly i don't need you to flame me for the price i'm throwing out there... i wouldn't want my parents spending any more money than that for something like Christmas. those are good for the price. whatever speakers you are putting in you should defnitly AMP them. or it will be pointless...

Im not on any bandwagon. But I bought the Type r-05 comps. 6.5's. from Ikesound. 120 shipped. took 4 days to get to me. I have them runnin on 100 watts a peice,, They sound awesome. I took my time, Airtight sealed them in my door. the crossover has tweeter adjustments, I got them with a set of type r 6x9's to match my alpine 9853 glidetouch. I dont have subs in my monte yet as i dont have a 1800 watt amp. But everytime someone gets in my car they think i have a 10" woofer somewhere in the car... I just have them tuned really well.. I think for 120 you cant really get any better, and IKE has a 1 year warrenty
