5kw - 6kw daily driver?

of all the wonderful spl woofers on the market, what sub would you guys recommend that takes 5kw-6kw all day while still sounding half way decent. Not in a fartbox, just straight daily....

6k is alot of heat for one woofer. There are plenty that will burp at that much power, but I'd like to know a woofer that prefers 6k daily...

contact team psi or scott at fi. either may be able to custom build a driver that will take some crazy daily power.

i would say a SHW, but you would probably be much louder splitting that power between 2 bad *** 12"s or 15"s with 2.5-3k to each instead of 6k to one woofer

little to no woofers can take that amount of power unless its in the perfect box. or unless u have a terrible box with crazy impedence rise then u could run an amp of that size per 1 woofer. thermally its pointless because there is no way any sub out could stay cool during long periods of play.

I have 6kw of amps on my "monster" 15 prototype... and I can't listen to it for very long at all anywhere near that level.

I put in ear plugs for 30-second runs @ full tilt, and even for much demoing anywhere near that.
