5k amp

i am planning on upgrading to a 5k amp for next season. Was wondering what are some good 5k amps to look into. I plan on running it with a normal 14 volt setup. I was told to look into atomic and adassa.

They arent "the same" in a strict sense, they are however, all zenon-made and some have very similar board/identical layouts. However, components and several other slight differences most assuredly exist.

Guess that says a lot for zenon amps.....

I forgot Digital Designs, Celestra, Clif Designs and probably many more. Ground Zero...

Earthquake, MA Audio, SounDigital, and a bunch more also have big amps but not exactly 5ks. Theres also Autotek 4000.1d and the Lanzar optidrive 4k... RF 4001bd... bunch of oithers right under 5k.

To my understanding Sundown looked into releasing a 5kw amp. From what I've read many people said they were interested, then Jacob set-up a pre-order and not enough people came through on their word... so he put it aside for more pressing pursuits.

Are you looking for a 5k amp or 5k of power? Cuz most amps that are rated at 5k you'll see between 3500-4000w depending on impedance rise and battery power. If you're looking to actually have 5k of power you'll need to look at amps rated at 6k+. Just a heads up.

the brutus series is considered the budget material. they have some good higher up equipment. the goliath, the maxximus, sampson. all good equipment.

i hate when people say this. there would be no point in marketing in the case of quality versus power then.

different components can be thrown into these amps.

you can have a pontiac GTO stock

you can have a pontiac GTO with engine mods worth 5k more, not appearable from the outside

apples to oranges but in actuality almost the same argument from either side.

Hi the old adassa warlord was made by zenon the new warlord X5 is not. I play the X5 at 0.25 ohms when linked. The new amps are more powerful and the X10 is alot more powerful
