570 Amp Alt!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.alternatorparts.com/Dodge...fier_wires.htm

I think this says it will do 570, even the 350 would be great. But OMG 570 that would give me some serious power, if I ran two of these that 1140 amps of charging power... OMG, thats crazy.

check it out tell me what you think... is it possible, I have no idea what they are saying, but if it does what they say it will, thats impressive. It would put out at idle more power than most h/o alts would at their peak...

__________________well as I looked further into it, they talk about adding this,

http://www.alternatorparts.com/quick...rectifier.html

and it just makes the alt more efficent and being able to handle higher loads put on the alt.. So i'm unsure,, does it generate that power, or is it just capable of handling the demands of that kind of draw..?

Alternator make AC power and the Bridge rectifier converts the AC power to DC power which can be used in cars. So I could see more bridge rectifiers making more DC power. What I would like to know is 570a @ what rpm?

well its a 200 amp alt that has an external rect, bridge... so as i read more into it, it just says it can handle higher loads... so does that mean, it will produce more power, or if I ran 500+ amps of amperage from my amp/s. it will just take the abuse.. lol IDK... but the alt apparently does the 200 amps at 1200 rpms... so it would be intresting if It did the power..

I'm going to call them tomorrow and find out

I can pick up the DC power alt for 620 shipped. but I just want to make sure that, the 200 amp at idle is legit. if its true I may go to a machine shop and have them build me a bracket for 3 of these,

then would I just go to the dealership and buy a longer belt? just curious...

or with one of the alts in factory location, get a second pulley setup where the pulley on the original alt has a second pulley attached to it that would run the other two alts? idk... just looking for info on how I could run 2 alts or 3?

Get the DC Power alt. You will get rated output at real idle, 600-800 rpm. They do dual and can do triple kits too. Tell them, phi (pronounced fee) sent you. Rob will hook you up. His XP line is really beefy and can handle a lot and perform really well.

ok, so the kits they make, obviously the alt is for my truck, but the kits will allow me to run dual and even triple alt setups?

where would I go to get the belt setup, or do they make a secondary pulley kit, that the main alt in the factory location, drivers the other two alts?

Any info on where to go or what to do to setup the 2nd and or third alt? and being my truck's voltage is regulated by my ecu... will adding more amps fry my ecu? because... that would **** lol.

and when running two alts, if one is producing more amps than the other for some reason... what will happen? or will they both be exactly the same?
