Yea I did hold a super nova and a reg nova and idk man I just really didn't like the feel, felt like my airsoft gun haha idk... everyone had good things to say about em but just not my shizz I guess. I really like the non pistol grip "tactical" grip this one has, didn't want an expandable or foldable stock either (they had both there).

Any specific reasoning? Or just preference?

What about a Remington 11-87, semi-auto for around the same price. I feel that a cheaper (compared to an M2 or M4) semi-auto is just asking for FTF and FTL issues.
11-87 is a great gun, my friend had one, and while taking it apart for cleaning he lost a part and didnt realize it until he had shot it a few times and it locked up... long story short, sent it back to remington, they fixed it for free, and sent it back. it messed up AGAIN, he sent it back, and they sent him a brand new one. i have the remington 870 20 and 12 gauge and beat the hell out of them. never have failed me once. i also have friends that swear on mossbergs. its all personal preference, which ever feels best to you, and which ever is the better deal!

If it kept breaking, then it's not a great gun.

I ended up with an 870 express tactical with the MOE stock and foregrip, if you didn't see that. Definitely a great gun so far, have only shot 350 or so rounds though.

put a vertical foregrip on it and a little LED flashlight
