500W Around $100

I'm looking to buy 2 12" subs. I'm looking to spend around $100 each. I'm looking for a sub around 500W RMS. I'm mainly looking for loud, car rattling, thumping bass. The only sub that I can find thats getting good reviews around that price is the Type R's. Any suggestions?

D3's = a good choice. I wouldn't say better then the R's in all applications, but put em in a nice ported box and they will perform.

Well not necessarily 500W. Just a sub that will boom for around $100-$150

What about Earthquake DBX-12DR? Ive never heard of earthquake. Any good?

infinity referance 12's, the newer style... VERY loud with the right amount of power... $120 if you know where to get them

i would suggest either kicker comp VRs, alpine type Rs, or pioneer 3000spls..

ive owned all except for the pioneers and i will vouch that they are definately loud for the money. these three subs almost always come up as the top three as far as bang for the buck
