oh i see. well that sucks man. save up and get something that can handle the power.Bought amps for subs later. I was just hoping my subs would take it for a while if I kept the volume down.
That or only use 1 of the amps for right now....Did you set your gains so tht it produces 750-1000 watts at max volume...? That's a lot better than "keeping the volume down."
What is that box tuned to? and what is the net cubic feet. You need to do this right next time. You need to match those 2 parameters to a set of subs. Then setup your sff according to the tune, then set your gain with a dmm according to what they can take. On a wild guess, you would probably do okay with HDC3 alums.Hell if I could buy them now I would...
That's sig material. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Sucks about your subs though.I think your issue may have come from having 6K on a pair of subs that take 750 rms each.
ya i cant stop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif when i read that. im about to sig thatThat's sig material. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Sucks about your subs though.
Depending on the resistance, 3000 / 2 = 1500 != X (1000That or only use 1 of the amps for right now....
ROFL!Depending on the resistance, 3000 / 2 = 1500 != X (1000
Sorry, we're doing those dumb *** problems in my Pre-Cal class, and I keep thinking of everything in terms of less than or greater than. It's frustrating. I mean, personally, I'd do the single 3000D, but, it'd be easier to just set both to produce 750 rather than figuring out parallel / series to get 1500 between both of them.
(Something tells me OP has no idea what he's doing.)
