powerbass is a well respected brand and make good quality stuff. The brands you mentioned are the mainstream of the mainstream. nothing wrong with them at all but it's not flea market garbage

rockford T5002 rated @ 500@ 2ohms bridged. I know you say you do not want more than 600w. According to Rockford forum the amp does 1000+ watts. Do not know how true that is but have been running an ed12k on it. $205 shipped.
