500/1 to power 2 12w6v2's?

is the JL 500/1 amp gonna be enough power to support 2 12w6v2 subs?

it looks like optimum power starts at around 300 watts. i've heard that the 500/1 is under rated as far as power output is concerned, so that seems like a fairly achievable number. i'm gonna be using this as my daily driver, and i don't care too much about spl. i want a SQ setup for mostly rock music.

Thats a pretty random thing thats happening. It's not with all the JL amps. I, my boss, and a few friends have owned a few, and NEVER had a problem with any of them.
