Thanks for the offer on the pdx, but if i am going to spend over $300, i think i might just spend a little more to get a Memphis Belle.

I would do some more research before getting that amp. If it did its rated power i would consider it, but i doubt it does at that price. Another downside is that its a fully A/B class amp. No Class D sub channel.

as for that powerbass amp, i may have attacked too early. after searching the site, it seems that they are not as bad as i thought.

^^^^ yea, it seems like a solid amp. I know Powerbass makes some good subs and mids. For 169.00 its hard not to pull the trigger. I have noticed through that a lot of companies have dropped there prices on there equipment. Ed has some good prices on there amps but they currently dont make the 5 channel.

For $169, it would probably be worth checking out. It does pretty good power. I am probably going to do a little more investigation. If i didnt like it, i could always sell it off....

that soft delay remote turn on/off is a neat feature

Powerbass makes some good stuff, and from what I've seen they are usually accurate with their numbers. I believe they have a 5 channel that's has a little more output also.

Chad,

This amp will accept 4 gauge, and it is recommended. I’d put a 100 amp ANL fuse at the battery, within 12”. The sub amp portion is class AB, so is 2-ohm stable. At 4-ohm, the amp is 75 x 4 and 250 x1. at 2-ohm, the amp is 150 x 4 and 500 x1. You can run each channel at different impedance, if you need to. Meaning, you can run the fronts at 2 ohm, the rear at 4 ohm and the sub at 2 ohm, or even left and right at 2 or 4 ohm.
