As the title says, I am thinking about just getting one amp to power my fronts active, and also my substage as well. I have seen some 5 channels that do around 80-90wx4 and then like 200 or 300x1, but I need 600w total for my type S subs.

Any recommendations. I dont want to spend like a G, Im looking in the 300-500$ range or so. I wouldnt mind getting rid of my PDX 1.600 and MRPF550(already sold), to get a 5 channel. Or I was thinkin just Fuvk it and get the PDX 4.100 and have 2 PDX amps.

Anythin?

I think Alpine has a 5 channel out now. Dont know if it meets your needs though.

I have a Rockford Power 1000 I might be selling soon. Its birthsheet says it makes 104wx4 @ 4 ohms and 931x1 @ 1 ohm. I think this may fit your needs well.

I have two 2 ohm subs... can only wire to 4 ohm and 2 ohm right? If so I cant wire down to 1 ohm.

Yeah alpines amp is only 75x4, and 300x1, if it was 75x4 and 600x1 I would probably buy it.

2 single 2 ohm subs can be wired to 4 or 1. Dual 2's can be wired to .5, 2, 8.
