mtx ta81001 or lanzar opti2000d

i have two alpine type r 12's that will be running at 1 ohm load in a ported box thats tuned around 32 hertz. I'm trying to decide what amp would be best for these subs. Reliable and performance wise. thank you

well i heard that the mtx's can fry pretty qucik. i have never heard any bad things about the lanzar opti2000d. i have always heard good things.

Similar quality IMO, and pretty close on power, too.

The Opti is $305 shipped at allaudioexpo, the MTX is $348 at techronics.

I guess if you like the looks of the MTX significantly more than the Lanzar maybe that's the amp for you. Otherwise I don't see a reason NOT to save yourself the $40.
