5.5 cf tuned to 30hz

This box is for a Soundsplinter RLP-18. I want to go with aero ports or PVC ports this time. Will two 6" ports be too much port area for this subwoofer?

5.5cf tuned to 30 hz, 2 6" ports around 25" i believe (one elbow in each port)...

Two 6" aero ports will be great.

would it be ok to use 6" PVC instead of "aero's".. because I could probably get those faster and cheaper locally...

maybe i could make my own flares for the ends inside the box.

the only issue i see is cutting a perfect 6" hole for the tube.. i only have a jigsaw to cut circles.

A thick 2 part epoxy will help any gaps in your circle. Take your time and start too small and sand your way to them fitting. It might be frustrating but it's your best bet with a jigsaw and PVC.

Go very slow with the jigsaw. Make sure that you keep turning your jigsaw constantly. If you stop turning it, then you ****ed up. This is where I see alot of people not make perfect cuts. I can make a pretty **** perfect circle cut with a jig, but it is a little tedious.
