I have never attended a MECA event. I'm jus glad we have more competitions going on down here. Wish i had a meter, i would host my own comps for fun !!!! i bet It would get more peeps interested in this sport

I will be attending but not competiting. I jus blew my subs last week and need to ship them off to get reconned:crap: I hope to be competiting on 6/6/2010

I wont be competting either. I am going mostly to check out the sound quality competitions. What subs are you running? RE? Dont they sell kits that you can do yourself? I reconed my subs twice. after every 2 comps.

Actually, I am shipping them to Scott at FI Audio so he can rebuild them to do 1500 rms !!!!!!!!!! My warranty thru RE Audio was up last december when i had them reconned THE 1ST TIME. One sub has fried voil coil and lead wire, and the other sub is hooked up and working like JACK THE BEAR. I will give MECA a try this weekend with the 1 good sub as long as it doesn;t take a $hit on me this week............

Cool, I am still tweeking out my new setup. I kinda miss having two subs. Thinking about finding a subs that can take 2000rms in this new folded transmissionline box. Took the snugtop off (for now...) I got my new back window in yesterday and 1 sub hooked up. (check the new sig. pic) I'm trying to take it easy on the new window til saturday, BUT I NEEDS 2 HEAR DAT BASS c() )))))))))))))

I went down 2 the Specialist to register yesterday and over heard someone on the phone saying not many people hav registered, but they expect a good turnout the day of the event. Plus- The judging for the event will be IN THE SPECIALISTS' INSTALL BAY!!!! Unless they mean just for the sql or show & shine. We'll see what happens.

X2. Right after you left they started SPL contest!!! I will post vids later after i get off work. f*cking thing lasted til 5pm. They took an hour long break in between 1st and second runs for everyone, but it was nice to close the bay doors and sit in the A/C Oh get this **** Subzero- the sheriff came to warn The Specialist/Dave that someone had complained 3 times about the noise:uhoh:
