4x10 to 6x9?

Hello, I have a 94 Blazer full size (Tahoe if you would) witch has 4x10's in the back. Im pretty set on using 6.5 CDT H6 mids up front with Seas Neo Tweets and CDT X-overs. So I wanted to do CDT for my rear fill. Problem is CDT only makes a 6x9. I know ever one will say " Dont use rear speakers, there unneeded.." but I dont want that. So should I make a Pod for 6x9's or what? Also since A Fi 18" BTL is my substage and its right behind the back seet should I mount A pair of tweeters back there? Thanks you all.

id make a baffel that fit's a 6.5 instead of a 6x9.... but it all depends on ur depth, and the size of the stock 4x10 spot.... do you have enough room to cut it out to a 6x9?

Yea, I do have enough room. I also thought about the 6.5 baffle. have about 3" depth so if is use .75" MDF to creat a ring I could mount the CDT mid and still use the stock speaker grill....I just dont know what the catch is...beside triming the roof.

id see what you could do... as far as keeping it stock looking...

I have a very similar problem, I got a 95 yukon 2 door and I got a solid system all the way around other than the rear speaker are definatly lacking good SQ (the kenwood's ****!), I've been looking all over for an adapter piece to convert the 4x10 to 6x9 but in all the reviews for the adapter brackets explain how they basically never work. So my question is if you went with the 6.5 or the 6x9 and what kind of difference it made after it was set and done. Also how much cutting to the roof did you have to do. if so could you provide pictures, I'm an amateur when it comes audio so details would be appreciated
