OK, I had 80INCHES design a 4th order BP for my quartet of 9Kv.2's.... I had them in a sealed box, 1.4cf, and was happy with the output (139.1 @ dash on TL), but wanted to try something different...
After a couple days of listening, I'm pretty pleased with the results.... definitely louder than the sealed setup and hits MUCH harder, rock is pretty awesome. The subs are still taking the full 1200w and not having a problem with it. The lows are nice and, again, louder than with the sealed box. Overall, the setup has a fuller sound.
Low pass is set to 80Hz, SSF to 30Hz, but I'm going to play with backing the SSF down a bit to see if I can get some more lows out of it
Played some Lil Jon, Ying Yang twins, etc.... obviously the strong suit for this design. No complaints!
The videos below were shot playing Late Night Tip and Georgia Dome.
