Gonna mess with a 2 15" 4th order box, as I saw one in a friends truck.

-

Question is, which 15 would you take at the $150 per sub mark?

The 2 amps I have laying around are a CAB1600 and a DD.M80.

-

With the black Fridays sales, here what is currently in my debate box:

-

SoundQubed HDS315 15 - $139

AMERICAN BASS ELITE 15 (E1544)- $150

FU750v2.0 15 - $160 (putting it out here now, as we all know its coming)

SKAR VVX-15v3 - $159

-

Any alternative suggestions?

Calculate the EBP for each of those subs. If its under 50 then thats your sub... If none of them are under 50 then you need to find something else because they arent 4th order friendly.

Efficiency Bandwidth Product Calculators - EBP, Speaker Resonance Frequency, Speaker Electrical

Alright well my google "fu" is not the greatest.

Here is what I have found so far. And this is not my forte here.

HDS315 - 35hz /.579(Qes) = 60.449

SKAR VVX-15v3 - 32.2hz / .55 = 58.545

AB E1544 - I could only find the older XD1544 w/ these specs 31hz / .669 = 46.337 (And these are far cheaper????)

FU750 - I have nothing.

-

Any suggestions @ Jeffdachef ?

Fu 750 15 = 32 / 0.76 = 42.105

That’s why I said do the fu!

I love my fu750 15! If I had the space ide get another //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

AB XD's are entirely different subs with different TSPs. The TNT series would be more comparable to the others listed. I would reach out to Bob at American Bass via email and ask if he can provide TSPs for the Elite series.

I’m going to stick with the 4th order bandpass for now and see if it can improve it. The bandpass actually plays 100 rebased songs good.

I'd try rear facing. Have you tried opening the trunk to see if that restores your bass?
