4ohm speakers read 3.5 on DMM??

I got a pair of focal components that i havent installed yet. i put a dmm on them just for the heck of it and they both read 3.5. the meter is accurate, i also measured my treos. does this mean they are semi-blown, or can a .5ohm off be normal?

its normal. no biggie.

I'd say it's normal... and sometimes meters aren't always accurate.

DCR is always different than the nominal impedance of the driver

That's when your coils are cold, when they recieve power, they are 4ohms.

my subs read between 4.1-4.3 per coil. dual 4ohm obviously. i figured a little high is ok.
