4ohm + 8ohm = What?

3 beers later and i'm back

about the forum turning to shit...i agree

i think that i mostly post useful helpful things, but when i see a thread like this that just started out as a complete waste of time then i will contribute to it as i see fit

the question was answered and sorry if opinions but they were given so deal with it

i'm gonna go back to drinking cause i really dont know what i am trying to point out here;)

(8/3) ohms in parallel.

12 ohms in series

By the way, if you don't know the formula, you can just figure it out using google or a search engine.

Series: Just add em up

Parallel: Where R1 = Resistance of first speaker, and R2 = Resistance of second speakers, it looks like this.

(1/R1) + (1/R2) = (1/RT) Where RT = Total Resistance.

This is an elementary formula that anyone with an interest in car audio should be aware of. There's no need for a thread about it.

pointing it out to you and the other posters that drove this forum to shit
