4ch amp powering components and single sub.

hey guys. i have diamond audio d6600.4 amp and im planning to use ch1/2 for my front components and bridge ch3/4 for my single 10" D3 sub. would this set up damage my sub or amp? thanks

why would it damage them? its just fine to run the speakers off channel 1&2 and run the sub bridged off of 3&4. unless you're overpowering your sub it shouldn't be an issue.

i did that with my xtant for 6 months. as long as the amp is 2 ohm bridgeable, you're fine.

2ohm?? my sub is 4ohm and i think i can only bridge it at 4ohm.

nope. its a dual 2ohm, but the shop wired it 4ohm for me. btw, im still new to these stuff. i dont really know what im talking about. ahah
