45s and bracing question

Here's what I'm thinking for bracing the Box. I was planning on using one and a quarter inch wooden dowels. And the configuration that you see below of course the two horizontal dowels will be in the center of the box. Does that look sufficient. Would you 45 all the corners in the Box. I was told it's not necessary in an aero ported box. What's your opinion. Thank you

dowels are fine. No 45s, you lose precious airspace. A lot of people gain when they take out their 45s. Only 45s needed is if you have a slot port and the 45 is right by the L bend.

I'd like to see three up and down at the three thin places where subs and port meet

One thing I like to add is to make a small flat spot, and join the horizontal and vertical dowels together just to the the whole box together. Not sure if it's needed just Something I do

Make a T or with the dowels and screw them together where they cross. Makes them a lot stronger.

Yeah I'm going to try to do three vertical the problem is I have a big ugly snorkel to work around LOl

I would brace the port. I used to take a small piece of wood and cut out the diameter of the port and loctite it to the box.

Does the bottom of the port touch the bottom of the box? If so then yes absolutely, if not, then bracing it is up to you.

I think you will be fine with 2 dowels vertically.

yeah just noticed to. Think it might have to do with how many times the pics get looked at....?? But doesn't make sense.
